Papa wrote this about me.
Hiccup took over Papa's life when he began working on a book in which was to feature 26 teddy-bears, each beginning with a different letter of the alphabet.
In doing so, he had one teddy-bear which was larger than the others; this was Harry who featured in his home, Hobberdy Hall. He was going to play a game of 'Hide & Seek' and required another teddy-bear, ideally quite different than himself.
Up popped a small and mischievous teddy-bear.
Papa did not have to wait long before one name seemed perfect. . . that was Hiccup!
From this point onwards, that small and mischievous teddy-bear began to steal the show and was the star of all the remaining 25 books.

Fabulous Fionora is being Frolicsome in Front of the Fireplace. Her Fabulous Fan and a Fascinator on her head add to the Fun. On the wall above the Fireplace is a Framed picture of her Fiancé, Fabian. Two Ferns border the Fire and the Flapjacks look tempting too - will Fionora have some? Or may she choose the Fondant candy from the Floor?

There is one thing about Hiccup in his adventures with the other teddy-bears. He does get into some awful scrapes which could ensure he took no part in other stories. However Hiccup is a most resolute teddy-bear and continues his travels, through good times and bad. . . and at the end of each story he seems as fresh as he was at the start.
